‘Voltron’ Final Season Review: The Series’ Biggest Bad Is Revealed at Long Last

Spoilers ahead if you aren't caught up with the final season of Voltron Legendary Defender. With seven seasons of intense, high-flying, space-based action already on the books, DreamWorks Animation's Netflix series Voltron Legendary Defender had a tough task ahead of it going into the eighth and final season. Granted, showrunners Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery have proven themselves up to the challenge throughout their careers and over the series' run, but iconic antagonists like the Galra's generals, Emperors Zarkon and Lotor, and the witch Haggar and her Robeasts would presumably be hard to top. …

Amy Pascal talks Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel and female-led spinoff

Even before Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse debuted to stellar reviews, Sony Pictures had announced that it will be fleshing out its new animated Spider-Verse with both a sequel and a Spider-Women spinoff, and now producer Amy Pascal has revealed some brief details about both projects.

During an interview with Vanity Fair, former Sony chief Pascal said that the Into the Spider-Verse sequel will explore a romance between Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, something which was originally planned for the first movie, but was ultimately cut from Phil Lord’s script.

Meanwhile, Pascal also went on to reveal that the three Spider-Women character set to feature in the female-led spinoff will be Spider-Gwen, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, and Cindy Moon/Silk – the latter of whom is also set to receive a live-action solo movie as part of ‘Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters’.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2 To Focus On Miles Morales And Gwen Stacy Romance

Over in the McU, the romance between Peter Parker and Michelle “Mj” Jones is set to finally get going with next year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, but in the planned Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2, the pair to ship will be Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy.

In a new interview from Vanity Fair with Sony’s Amy Pascal, the producer elaborated a little on what’s to come in the recently announced sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and it seems that Phil Lord’s script for the first movie was originally intended to include a romance between Spider-Gwen and Shameik Moore’s character. But while Lord was ultimately advised by producer Christina Steinberg to trim this subplot, the story has apparently been saved for the Joaquim Dos Santos-helmed follow-up.

Though the details pretty much end there, the current speculation is that the sequel might take some inspiration

Shamus Kelley Dec 14, 2018

Voltron: Legendary Defender’s ending was pretty conclusive, but could there be more stories to tell?

This article contains spoilers for Voltron Legendary Defender season 8.

The ending for season 8 of Voltron seemingly tied up all loose ends. The galaxy was saved and the characters are all moving on with their lives. There was no hook that any great evil was still out there, so it seems like the Voltron Legendary Defender story is at its end.

Or is it? After all, there was that line about the Holt family establishing the next generation of Legendary Defenders along with imagery tied to Vehicle Voltron. Could fans hope to see a sequel or spinoff?

In previous interviews with Den of Geek, showrunners Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery have discussed the possibility of a sequel or spinoff but nothing has ever been confirmed or given serious discussion (as far

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Gets Rare 100% Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Gets Rare 100% Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes
If these critics are to be believed, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse might be the best Spider-Man movie of all time. Set to release in theaters next month, the movie is now seeing its early reviews from professional critics rolling in. The consensus between them all is that the movie is fantastic, and there wasn't very much negative to say about it. With 33 official ratings now in, the movie is sitting on a perfect score of 100% fresh at Rotten Tomatoes. Generally, the reviews praise the film for its story, animation style, and humor. While that score may fall as more reviews are added, it's not likely to go down very far, and this is a great sign for fans eager to see it for themselves.

This is obviously far from the first Spider-Man story to hit theaters, but Into the Spider-Verse will be the first animated Spider-Man movie to premiere on the big screen.
