Kira Madallo Sesay

Kira Madallo Sesay's unique name is a reflection of her two diverse heritages. She is half Russian and half Sierra Leonean. Kira is descended from African royalty. Her grandfather was the King of his tribe in Sierra Leone (aka Chieftain) of the Mandingo (Mandinka). Her father is an African prince. This bloodline means that Kira Madallo Sesay, is an African Princess of the Mandingo tribe. Kira is a socialite and a philanthropist. She has been featured in "Life of Luxury" magazine. Kira's uncle Ahmed Tejan Kabbah was the President of Sierra Leone. Her uncle's story was shown in the Leo DiCaprio film "Blood Diamond".

Kira was born in New York City, however, growing up in a diplomatic family exposed Kira to the vast array of cultures in the world at an early age. She traveled around the world with her father, as he represented Sierra Leone as a United Nations diplomat. This United Nations lifestyle also enabled Kira to have the enriching experience of living in various countries.

Kira is the founder and owner of Kalliope Films. Her company's mission is to produce high quality, profitable films of diverse genres for a worldwide audience. Always open to new ideas and collaborations, she works in conjunction with a variety of international co-producers. Kira is a member of the prestigious Producers Guild of America, Producers Council.
