Elena Ksenofontova was born on December 17, 1972 in Kazakh SSR, USSR as Yelena Yuryevna Ksenofontova. She is an actress, known for Tayga (2002), Okhota na geniya (2006) and God zolotoy rybki (2007).

In early 1990s, she was diagnosed with brain cancer after suffering vomiting till the bile and severe headache. After three years of treatment, which included multiple courses of chemotherapy, she was told that she would have to get used to living with these intolerable headaches. She later admitted she pricked herself with needles to replace one pain on another. Eventually, after having a few remissions during the next couple of years, she went cancer free.
Has two children - a son Timofey Neretin (b. 2003) with her ex-second husband Ilya Neretin and a daughter Sofiya Ryzhikh (b. February 10, 2011) with her ex-boyfriend Aleksandr Ryzhikh (they were in a relationship from 2010 to 2015).
Before the birth of her son Timofey in 2003, she was troubled to conceive and had a miscarriage. Later she had another late-term miscarriage before the birth of her second child, a daughter Sofiya, in 2011.
