- His mother Catalina Manalansan Mariano is Filipino, Spanish and Chinese. His father, Neil Dalager is a Minnesotan of Swedish and Norwegian descent, making Mike Eurasian like fellow actors Keanu Reeves, Brandon Lee, Rob Schneider, Russell Wong and actresses Devon Aoki, Kelly Hu, Maggie Q and Nicole Scherzinger.
