‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer: First Glimpse of Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray in Sequel

‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer: First Glimpse of Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray in Sequel
Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” starring Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd, along with a quick glimpse at the classic characters played by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.

Murray, Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Ramis were a part of the original 1984 hit, along with its sequel “Ghostbusters II” in 1989. After Ramis’ death in 2014, it was unclear if a third installment with the original cast was going to take place.

Sony produced an all-female reimagining of the film in 2016, starring Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy. After that installment underperformed at the box office, Sony brought on Jason Reitman as co-writer and director for “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” who brought in a younger cast and got the original stars to agree to being part of the film.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife” will also feature Shelby Young and Sarah Natochenny in voice acting roles.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 10 Easter Eggs Explained
This Star Wars: The Bad Batch article contains spoilers.

“Common Ground” takes the Bad Batch to the former Separatist capital now under Imperial occupation. While Omega discovers a new skill, the squad rescues a senator who supported a war against them not long ago. Along the way, a few brand-new characters make their way onto the stage in this episode, particularly Senator Avi Singh and Imperial Captain Bragg.

Take a look at all the Star Wars references and easter eggs we noticed this week…

– Raxus, or Raxus Secundus, was established as the capital world of the Confederacy of Independent Systems in The Clone Wars. Padmé Amidala’s

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 10 Has Fun Star Trek and Fleabag Cameos

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 10 Has Fun Star Trek and Fleabag Cameos
This Star Wars: The Bad Batch article contains spoilers.

After weeks of being on the run, after making contact with Rex and having their bio-chips removed, the Bad Batch are finally able to head back to “base” on Ord Mantell. But the respite doesn’t last very long in “Common Ground.” In fact, it’s only minutes after their arrival that they’re off again, on a new mission for Cid (Rhea Perlman), this time to save a former Separatist senator from the Empire.

To say that their new job makes the clone troopers of the Bad Batch uncomfortable is an understatement. Their rescue mission on Raxus, the former capital of the Separatist systems, is new territory for these soldiers. Mere months ago, their goal was to take down the Separatists in the name of the Republic, but their new lives as mercenaries now finds them helping one of their key leaders,

Finn And Han Solo To Appear In Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny

The animated microseries Star Wars: Forces of Destiny did a great job of including a range of fan favourite characters from across the saga in its eight episode first season. Driven by its female stars, the three-minute installments featured the likes of Princess Leia, Rey, Jyn Erso, Padme Amidala and Ahsoka Tano. Not to mention Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and more in supporting roles. Thankfully, the familiar faces will keep on coming in the upcoming season, as two more big names have been added to the line-up.

Jedi News are reporting that the latest issue of Star Wars Insider features an interview with Lucasfilm Story Group member Cassie Beck, who reveals that both Finn and Han Solo will make appearances in upcoming Forces of Destiny episodes. Jyn Erso, Leia And Sabine Wren Star In Latest Episodes Of Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny

Star Wars: Forces of Destiny has proven to be a real (bite-size) treat for fans. Beginning last Monday, a new episode of the animated show has been released daily, each one focusing on a heroine of the Star Wars universe.

First, Daisy Ridley returned as Rey from The Force Awakens, alongside Bb-8, in episodes one and two. Then Princess Leia saved some Ewoks in episode three, while episode four saw Ahsoka Tano make a comeback, alongside Anakin Skywalker and Yoda. Leia returned for episode five, with Ahsoka taking the reins again for episode six. This installment also saw her team-up with the prequel trilogy’s Padme Amidala.

To mark the series’ debut on the Disney Channel, two new episodes arrived yesterday. The first introduces another character new to the series – and only her second on-screen appearance to boot. Titled “The Stranger,” it sees Felicity Jones reprise her role as Jyn

Leia Saves The Ewoks In Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny Episode Three

This Monday brought with it the first in a new series of Star Wars online animated shorts. Titled Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, the 16 part microseries will showcase the kickass women of the galaxy far, far away. With the first two episodes having focused on Rey, episode three hops backwards in the timeline to feature an adventure with Princess Leia.

Titled “Ewok Escape,” the two and a half minute short sees Leia and Wicket the Ewok encounter a pair of Stormtroopers. As well as Leia showing off her courage and quick-thinking, the Ewoks also prove once again that the might of the Empire is no match for their plucky charms.

Just as Rey’s adventures in the two previous episodes sat neatly within the framework of The Force Awakens, so too does Leia’s story connect with the original trilogy. Specifically, it takes place during the events of Return of the Jedi,
