Jeff Sutch Director/DP - NYC Based.
Jeff began shooting extreme sports while studying Mass Communications at UMASS Amherst and was involved in the creation and launch of MTV Sports. In the early 1990s he lived in Seattle shooting as much as possible. Jeff relocated back East when an opportunity came up to work on MTV Beach House leading into a staff position at Beyond Our Reality Productions - working with and learning from the best.
In 1997 his company Sutchworks was created with Burton Snowboards being the first client. He is the DP of countless projects ranging from VH1s Behind the Music, Comedy Central TV Funhouse, ESPN's X-Games, HBO Boxing's Face Off with Max Kellerman, as well as promos for all the HBO dramatic series and 24/7 Sports series.
Jeff's consistently produces projects that are nominated for industry awards including a 2010 Sports Emmy win for HBO's - 24/7 Jimmie Johnson Race to Daytona. He researches and utilizes the latest cameras and technology and had the honor of his NASCAR shoot being covered in American Cinematographer for use of innovative gear.
Jeff's wife Tracey is his manager and has been with him for more than 25 years. They have 2 children and live not far from New York City in rural New Jersey. Jeff's very involved in many action sports including Dirt Bike Racing, Surfing and Snowboarding.
