David Harbour Says Hellboy May Sing in Upcoming Reboot

Lionsgate's highly-anticipated Hellboy reboot recently wrapped production, but with exactly one year and one day left until the January 2019 release date, it remains unclear when the first footage will be release. While walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes last weekend, star David Harbour dropped quite the tantalizing tidbit, hinting that he may actually get to belt out a tune as the title character. When asked if there was a possibility that Hellboy would actually dance, referring to the actor's now-infamous Hopper dancing scene in Stranger Things Season 2, the actor teased that there will be no dancing, but there may in fact be some singing.

"Actually, not dancing, but I am a triple threat. I don't know if you know this, but I'm also a singer, or at least there was a little bit of crooning that Hellboy may or may not do in the film."

After starting production in mid-September,

Don’t Kill It Review

As far as “do it yourself” indie gorefests go, Mike Mendez’s Don’t Kill It is townsfolk-slaughtering lunacy. A lofty premise executed on a shoestring budget, ambitious in its want to blow genre fans away. This is a twisted, death-dealing endurance test with blood oozing from every possible opening, no matter how fake said blood looks, feels, or tastes. Writers Dan Berk and Robert Olsen mold a demonic possession story into slasher mayhem, and even convince psycho-Swede Dolph Lundgren to come along for the ride. Screaming ghoulies, a mumbling hero and enough prosthetic limbs to fill a Halloween decoration store – what else do you need? Maybe a few more dollars, but who doesn’t these days?

Lundgren stars as Jebediah Woodley, a traveling demon hunter who ends up in Chickory Creek, Mississippi. It’s here where an age-old tormentor is released from his jar-like tomb, only to begin killing the Chickory natives.

Movie Review – Don’t Kill It (2016)

Don’t Kill It, 2016.

Directed by Mike Mendez.

Starring Dolph Lundgren, Kristina Klebe, and Billy Slaughter.

An ancient evil is unleashed in a small Alaskan town leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host. The only hope of survival lies with a grizzled demon hunter (Dolph Lundgren) who has faced this terror before. Together with a reluctant FBI agent he has to figure out how to destroy a demon with the ability to possess its killer.

As a fully fledged member of the Dolph Lundgren appreciation society, the arrival of a new Lundgren special is a bitter-sweet experience these days. I say these days, it’s probably always been that way, but in the last five years in particular it’s a real crap shoot. He’s now firing out films with the regularity of Eric Roberts. Maybe not quite Eric level yet,

Don’t Kill It trailer: Dolph Lundgren goes demon hunting

Joseph Baxter Sep 22, 2016

Dolph Lundgren is a cowboy hunting down an ancient demon with some bizarre rules in the trailer for Don’t Kill It...

Dolph Lundgren continues to find fun projects to keep himself busy. His latest looks really quite good fun, too.

Don’t Kill It might resemble an odd amalgam of a Western film and television’s Supernatural, at first glance. However, pitting the action in a sleepy small town, this particular piece of demon-hunting fiction puts an intriguing spin on things. Fedora and duster-rocking demon hunter Jebediah Woodley (Lundgren) wanders into town, looking to make a powerful and ancient demon his next quarry. However, there’s a catch with this one, since whoever kills the demon’s host body ends up becoming its next host, creating a horrendously homicidal chain of events. Splendid.

Consequently, even a slayer of demons as seasoned as Woodley is going to

Over the past few years we've witnessed Brazil's Fantaspoa Festival move into the production film with increasing confidence and it appears very much as though their latest effort will propel them to an entirely new level. Partnering with Argentina's Boikot Films, Fantaspoa Produções will next tackle Odradek, the first internationally oriented project from acclaimed Brazilian director Guilherme de Almeida Prado, who also takes a producing role. Playing in a blend of English and Spanish the cast will be anchored by Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie's Halloween) and Juan Palomino (Kryptonita) and Lautaro Delgado. The talent behind the camera is interesting as well Fabio Frizzi providing the score and Argentinian painter Santiago Caruso providing paintings for the film. Inspired by the enigmatic Kafka tale, an unusual love...
