Dee Watt has an extensive television editing background that started in Ontario, Canada. Her work in the cable network non-fiction genre has been predominantly throughout California and she currently works remotely from British Columbia.
She's edited in Hollywood for Prometheus Entertainment's "The Curse of Oak Island", "The UnXplained" with William Shatner and "Ancient Aliens".
True Crime has been the mainstay of her TV genre, with decades editing many popular shows for Discovery Channel's ID Network, A&E, and Court TV.
Among her other list of networks is Animal Planet, including "Amanda To The Rescue" and HGTV where she enjoyed a season with fellow redheads on the wildly popular series "Good Bones".
Dee expanded her mechanical skills on build shows for National Geographic's Factory series, fought large battles with a small budget group of soldiers for the History Channel, explored America through Smithsonian's "Aerial America" and she now knows the technique of skinning a dead lion, which was edited in 3D.
Reality, scripted, documentary, pilots, sizzles... whew - it's been a whirlwind.
She has an ear for picking the right music and thrives off of detailed sound design. Dee's love for storytelling and writing stems from working with supremely talented directors, shooters, producers, and actors. Variety is the spice of life and it can all be done from an edit chair.
