With twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry, Mark Alan has worked on all sides of the lens. From modest beginnings in New York City acting in soap operas to working for the Travel Channel, his professional titles have ranged from Story Editor to Head of Development to his current position of EVP for Joe Dante and Mike Finnell's company, Renfield Productions. Alan clocked about fifteen years of working with writers in screenplay development, before switching to a full-time Producer role.

Alan produced the multi-award-winning feature Dark which premiered at the Oldenburg Film Festival, starring Alexandra Breckenridge and Whitney Able. He also produced Shriekfest's Best Horror of 2018, Camp Cold Brook, starring Chad Michael Murray and Danielle Harris. In addition to heading the Dante empire, he continues to co-produce the long-running, acclaimed web franchise Trailers From Hell alongside some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
