Jamie Chung Talks The Man with the Iron Fist

Jamie Chung Talks The Man with the Iron Fist
I was recently invited to the set of CBS Films' new thriller 7500, which is working towards an August 28, 2012 release date. One of the cast members we spoke with is Jamie Chung, who plays one of the stewardesses on a transcontinental flight where mysterious supernatural events occur.

The actress also spoke about her role in The Man with the Iron Fist, and how director RZA's original cut was over four hours long. Here's what the actress had to say below.

"The original cut was four hours long and RZA was like, 'Let's turn it into two movies!' (Producer) Eli (Roth) was like, 'Eh, no.' So they're really excited and I have complete faith in RZA. He's a complete genius when it comes to these things and he knows the genre so well. So it's cut down to an hour and a half and it's picture locked and now he's working on the music.

Exclusive: Pam Grier Talks The Man with the Iron Fist
I recently spoke with Pam Grier for the Blu-ray release of Jackie Brown on October 4. I also asked the actress about her role in The Man with the Iron Fist, which marks the feature directorial debut of RZA. Here's what Pam Grier had to say below about The Man with the Iron Fist.

"I play RZA's mother, in the mid-1800s. He went to Quentin and said, 'I want to direct.' The next thing you know, he's calling me to work with him in China, to play his mother. It was wonderful and, of course, Wu Tang Clan, their work is just so poetic. He's an amazing director. My character gives up her freedom to save her son. It basically starts out his journey, to a new land. It was very, very moving. Shooting in China was extraordinary. The people were so warm and so smart. My interpreter, who

Super Shorts: A Thousand Words

We don't know much about A Thousand Words director Ted Chung, or the good-looking star of the short, Yoyao Hsueh. What we do know about the film is that it's a short short, not a single scene wasted, and sweet (in the same way that digital technology has turned us into people who can't communicate, are better citizens, and are also kinda stalkers), and just-announced new Saturday Night Live cast member (along with Brooklyn's own Jenny Slate) Nasim Pedrad is winning enough, in both still photos and in-motion, to convince this guy to go after her and give her back her camera. A Thousand Words from Ted Chung on Vimeo.
