Dick Swaab(I)

Dick Frans Swaab (Amsterdam, 17 December 1944) is a Dutch doctor and
neurobiologist who is famous as a brain researcher. He is a professor
of neurobiology at the University of Amsterdam and was until 2006
director of the Dutch Institute for Brain Research of the Royal Dutch
Academy of Sciences.
Swaab has numerous scientific awards and has 65 PhD students, of whom a dozen awards for their research. He is editor or editor of several journals on brain research. He has published over 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been editor of nine scientific books. He has more than 180 books, contributed a chapter. He is a member, founder and honorary member of many scientific and professional associations.
Corncerning science Swaab is a major, internationally renowned Dutch researchers, with many publications, and also frequently cited in scientific publications and more lay people.
On Sunday, July 31, 2011 he was the second guest of the television season that summer guests from the VPRO.
