Ruben Bansie

Ruben was born in Amsterdam, Holland, to American mother Heidi
Snellman, Dutch father Rajendra Bansie. When his parents separated in
1990, Ruben returned to the U.S. with his mother and sister, where they
lived in Portland, Oregon. His mother worked in the music business, and
Ruben often traveled with her to concerts and music festivals. He
attended alternative arts school in NW and SE Portland, and went to
high school in NE Portland, during which time he was cast in his first
role in Gus Van Sant's "Elephant".
