Malka Shabtay

DR. Malka Shabtay is an Applied Anthropologist working over 40 years with Ethiopian Jews in Israel and in Ethiopia. she taught for over 40 years in several academic institutes in Israel. she wrote 15 books. at the age of 60 years old she studying documentary film making at Tel Aviv university. so far she completed three films: Cameroon Ma Petite Ville (2021), Nafkot - Yearning (2022) and Muito Amor - Jews and Judaism in Amazonia (2023). she is also practicing coaching with culturally diverse clients, as well as Videotherapist. Malka is a mother to Tevel, 20 years old.
