Nikola Dragovic(I)

Nikola Dragovic was born in 1968 in Paris, France but moved back to what was then known as Yugoslavia when he was a baby.

He finished elementary and Architectural high school in Belgrade. During his high school days he decided not to continue in the family's footsteps that is to become an architect and decided to become a film editor. The passion for film editing in fact resulted for his biggest passion in life that is his love for comic books.

In 1989 he was accepted both to the Academy for Dramatic Arts in Zagreb then Yugoslavia and to the FAMU in Prague then Czechoslovakia. He opted for Zagreb considering that at that time he would only have to move to another city and not country. When the war broke out in Yugoslavia, he decided to finish his studies in Zagreb.

Upon graduation in 1994 from the Academy for Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in the class of professor Radojke Tanhofer he returned to Belgrade only to leave and work for a year in Moscow, Russia.

Since 1996 he has been living in Belgrade where he works as an editor, director and screen writer. Father of a son, named Vidak.
