Michael Cormaris

Born Michael Joseph Fraser in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
He is the son of Cheryl Fraser and Vasilis Cormaris. Michael is an only child. His Ancestry is half Greek and half Scottish.
His father passed away when Michael was 5. Two years later Michael's mother met his step dad Paul Woods, and they relocated to Edmonton on an army base until he was 15.
After suffering from depression and getting involved with the wrong crowd, Michael's life was at risk and he moved back to Calgary to stay with his uncle. He then shortly after moved in with his grandparents and attended St Francis High School.
Not long after high school, Michael moved to Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Michael worked as a cook for a Greek food chain for almost ten years and got physically fit by training in the gym and boxing. When he was 28 he moved to Langley, a city near Vancouver where he became the head trainer of a gym called F45 North Langley. Michael helped the gym win the award for best F45 in British Columbia in 2019. The ceremony was held in Las Vegas. This is where Michael met Mark Wahlberg, a person that he has often looked up to.
After Covid, Michael was able to begin a lifelong passion of studying acting. He had the good fortune to train with actor Frank Cassini at Railtown Actors Studio and with Al Miro. Michael's first role was in a film called 'Tear In The Void' by Dohyun Im. His next film was playing Richard in 'Sleep' directed by Martin Michael, where he had his first lead role. The film went on to win awards at the Run N Gun film festival in Vancouver. Michael was nominated for his performance. After 'Sleep', Michael co-starred as Adrian in 'Here Lies The Truth' by Amy Arnold and Celia Whyte Lewis.
In the film 'I'm Glad I'm Not You', Michael plays the role of Ricardo. The film was directed by Aidan Timm and co-stars Hunter Madison.
