Thus far on Outlander, Roger and Bree haven't had too many happy moments together. They begin a relationship, only to have Roger freak out that Brianna wants to sleep with him - in his mind, they must be at least engaged first, though he has slept with other women already, so that's a touch hypocritical on his part. Vin Diesel shares first official image from Bloodshot movie

Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram to share an official image from Sony’s Valiant comic book adaptation Bloodshot, the first instalment of a planned cinematic universe, which features Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison.

At least we think it is. It may just be Vin turning up on set, or making his way to the gym or something. Check it out here…

Presumably, the above photo features a pre-Bloodshot Ray Garrison, who will eventually find himself granted superhuman strength, speed, agility and healing thanks to state of the art nanotechnology, before being recruited to hunt down super-powered ‘Harbingers’.

Bloodshot is being directed by visual effects supervisor Dave Wilson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) from a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), and also features a cast that includes Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Guy Pearce (The Catcher Was a Spy), Sam Heughan (Outlander

‘Outlander’ Recap: An Unlikely Couple Emerges in ‘If Not For Hope’
Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “If Not For Hope,” the eleventh episode of “Outlander” Season 4.

The thrust of the action of “If Not For Hope,” the eleventh episode of “Outlander’s” fourth season centered on Brianna (Sophie Skelton) cooling her heels at River Run after the rest of her family took off in search of Roger (Richard Rankin). Brianna was content to read and sketch for the ensuing months until her parents return, but Aunt Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) had other ideas — namely, she needed to see Brianna wed before the baby arrived.

It was obvious Jocasta admired how much Bree is like the late Ellen Mackenzie, Jocasta’s older sister and mother to Jamie (Sam Heughan), who would not be forced into a marriage of convenience or political strategy. But Jocasta also couldn’t sit by and watch Bree’s child be branded a “fatherless bastard,

‘Outlander’ Recap: Secrets and Misunderstandings Cut to ‘The Deep Heart’s Core’
Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “The Deep Heart’s Core,” the tenth episode of “Outlander” Season 4.

In the aftermath of Brianna’s (Sophie Skelton) rape and pregnancy news, it would seem like everyone knew what was going on, but that was not the case — and these secrets caused some serious heartbreak and anger in “The Deep Heart’s Core.”

But first, in one of the best scenes between Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Brianna from the books that was adapted very well on the show, the father and daughter had a very frank discussion about Brianna’s rape. Jamie was convinced that Bree needed to be married now that there was a baby on the way, at which modern-day viewers might all laugh, but that was how things were back then, as executive producer Maril Davis tells Variety.

“In Jamie’s time, women got married

Outlander Recap: Roger That

Outlander Recap: Roger That
Need to catch up? Check out the previous Outlander recap here.

James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser very rarely makes a mistake. It’s charming. It’s enviable. And it’s the reason why — when he realizes in this week’s Outlander that he’s accidentally done something objectively horrible from any angle — it’s so captivating to watch him try to reconcile his behavior.

He sputters. He tosses furniture. His face turns a shade of crimson I had no idea Sam Heughan could will himself to reach (and that’s even considering last episode’s Serious Reddening during the father-daughter meeting). Jamie’s extreme discomfiture,

Outlander's Jamie and Brianna Share a Moment in Sneak Peek

It's safe to say there's definitely some family stuff to work out amongst the Frasers.  In this week's episode of Outlander, there is clearly a little bit of tension between Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and her dad who she only recently met, Jamie (Sam Heughan), even if the tension's really only on his end. In the above clip, exclusive to E! News, he apparently blames himself for Brianna needing to go 200 years into the past to chase after her mother, and then for the traumatic sexual assault Brianna suffered when she got there.  Even as she talks about her father Frank, Brianna makes it clear she didn't just go through all that to be reunited with her mother. But of course she...

Outlander's New Episode Changes 4 Key Plot Points From the Book - Here's Why That's a Good Thing
Warning: spoilers for Outlander season four, below.

It's no secret that the Outlander show writers have had a formidable task in adapting Diana Gabaldon's lengthy books for television. As executive producer Maril Davis told Popsugar in a recent interview, "Diana's books are huge and there's no way to get ever nook and cranny from the books onto the show."

That being said, the latest episode, titled "The Birds and the Bees," felt even more sped up than most entries into the series. The 50-minute story manages to cover months of time, condensing and omitting key plot points from the book left and right. In case you need a refresher about how exactly it all goes down in the Gabaldon's novel - or if you've never read the books and are curious - here are the biggest differences in the adaptation and what they mean for the show.

‘Outlander’ Producer on Importance of Portraying On-Screen Father-Daughter Reunion as in the Novels
Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “The Birds and the Bees,” the ninth episode of “Outlander” Season 4.

The latest episode of “Outlander” finally put on screen a scene book readers have been looking forward to for years.

In the episode “The Birds and the Bees,” Brianna (Sophie Skelton) managed to carry on with her mission to find her parents and warn them of their impending deaths despite having just been brutally assaulted by Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) in a pub. When she learned that her parents were actually in Wilmington already and set out to find them, Brianna located her birth father first, coming upon Jamie (Sam Heughan) as he took a bathroom break in an alley. It might seem a little weird to show-only viewers, but it happened exactly the way it happens in the book, which is just how the writers’ room wanted it.
