Jake Bern was born on July 30, 1979 in Berkeley, California, USA as Jacob Degen Bern. He is an actor and producer, known for Cold Case (2003), Gilmore Girls (2000) and September 11 (2002).
Attended Berkeley High School, Berkeley, California (1993-1997).
Loves playing sports, especially basketball and baseball

Studied at SF's American Conservatory Theater, Young Conservatory (1995-1997)
Graduated from the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television with an emphasis in Acting (1997-2001), and won 3 Acting Awards (including the Dean's Advisory Board Award in 2001)
His love for performance stems fully from his experiences as a child at Camp Winnarainbow, Wavy Gravy's summer performing arts camp, where Jake learned how to juggle, ride a unicycle, improvise, and be a clown.
Currently studying at Playhouse West with renowned acting teacher Robert Carnegie (2005)
