Johnny Anthony(II)
- Actor
Johnny Anthony is a NYC based actor originally from Winston-Salem, NC. As a kid who moved around a lot, arts and sports always allowed him to find a home. For as long as he could remember, he had a deep love for storytelling and found solace in his favorite films/plays, literature, music, and comedy. When a principal at his local arts-magnet high school suggested he be placed in the advanced theatre classes, he finally found a place to express his inner creativity. And with the guidance of an invaluable high school drama teacher, he was able to funnel his passion into the world of acting.
After graduation, with his heart set on moving to New York City to dive into the historical hub of acting, he attended Pace University where, coupled with playing baseball all four years, he was an honors student who got to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry. This is where he began to work on many student films, as well as professionally on sets such as Law and Order and Steven Spielberg's West Side Story. Shortly after earning his degree, he continued his training at the prestigious HB Studio where he studied at the Uta Hagen Institute. Ever since completing that program, he has continued to work on camera as well as performing in plays at Arena Stage in DC, Cumberland Theatre in Maryland, and various theaters in NYC.
In addition to acting, his hobbies include thrift shopping, visiting art museums, listening to 90s R&B, and supporting the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
