He excels at combining different musical styles and electronic instruments and textures to create an emotionally resonant original soundscape.
Erik created the music/sound treatment for the HBO Max logo, the theme for The Hot Zone which was produced by Ridley Scott, and he produced the score for the Academy Award winning film, The Moon and the Son.

He also composed for VR games including Ben 10 VR, Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games, and Jest to Impress Versus, as well as countless indie games and VR projects.
After a rewarding career as a jazz musician, where his band opened up for The Roots, and A Tribe Called Quest, Erik moved to New York to attend New York University and study film scoring, where he received his master's degree in music. While in New York, Erik conducted a live orchestra at Lincoln Center, performing his original score synced to the video. He earned his bachelor's degree in music from James Madison University.
