Glenn Stout is a Canadian-American author and dual citizen of both countries. He is the author and editor of more than 90 books, most notably "Young Woman & the Sea" in development at Paramount Studios, Nine Months at Ground Zero and the upcoming Tiger Girl & The Candy Kid: Sex, Death and Diamonds, a Jazz Age Love Story. He was raised in Ohio and is a graduate of Bard College in New York. He lives in Vermont, USA, and has made many appearances on sports-related documentaries.

Editor of The Best American Sports Writing series since its inception in 1991. Worked as a librarian at the Boston Public Library. Co-written books on Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, and Jackie Robinson.
