Firat (1995, Turkey) studied film at Kadir Has University in Istanbul. His first short film, The Banquet, was screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2019. His experimental short Things I Don't Remember has screened in many installations internationally. He is the co-founder of the production company Luna. Kavur, his debut feature, made its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
