Margarita's Hollywood journey began in 1997. In 2001, she guest starred opposite Emmy-award winning actress Alfre Woodard on the television series The Practice. She has co starred on several television series including Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Good Trouble and others. She was the lead character in Aloe Blacc's music video for the acoustic version of the worldwide hit "Wake Me Up" which has reached over 29 million views on YouTube.
In 2018, she filmed the lead role in Un-Visible, co wrote and starred in Bonita (2019), a supporting lead role in the feature film Big America, roles in MVP (2022), The Secret of Sinchanee (2021), and a lead role in the independent feature film A Vote of Faith (2023).
As an independent film producer, she Executive Produced award winning Puncher's Chance TV pilot, Raise Your Hand feature and Co-Produced Debt Collectors currently on Netflix. In 2022, she expanded her producing filmography portfolio focusing on film Special Effects. She has several projects at various stages of development including several scripts she has written or optioned.
She trains at the Anthony Gilardi Acting Studio March 2018-present.
Margarita married Charles Arthur Berg at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, Ca on December 27, 2018.
