Mini Bio (1)

Specialising in the kids/family genre, Stack has worked as a screenwriter and script reader for companies like Miramax, Working Title, Pathe, UK Film Council and Irish Film Board, among others. He helped set-up the Red Planet Prize with Tony Jordan, designed to seek out new TV writing talent.

With Tim Clague, he co-hosted the highly popular podcast The UK Scriptwriters Podcast, which was started in 2010.

He won the BBC NI Tony Doyle Bursary Award for New Writing for his coming of age drama 'Run for Home'. [May 2004]
He began his TV and Film career as a special effects assistant in Ardmore Studios, Ireland. After moving to London, he worked in Channel 4's Entertainment department.
His first feature script, 'The Good Guys', was optioned by Legend Films and is in development in Ardmore Studios, Ireland (May 2004).
