The answer to that question is... maybe! According to TV Line, young Levi Miller will play Cat Grant's (Calista Flockhart) son Carter, who is set to debut in episode 4 of Supergirl. Now in the comics the son of Grant and her ex-husband Joe Morgan was named Adam - but the site makes it a point of mentioning this character is "independent of Adam Morgan." So, whether Carter becomes embroiled in the same Toy Man plot that eventually costs Adam his life in the source material remains to be seen. Carter is described as a “sensitive and shy” and “couldn’t be more different from his mom.” As Melissa Benoist’s Kara babysits her boss’s son and gets to know him better, “Carter finally opens up to her — revealing his true feelings for Supergirl.” Awww. Supergirl premieres on Monday, Oct. 26, at 8:30/7:30c, before moving into its regular Mondays-at-8 time slot on Nov.

When Rooney Mara as cast as Tiger Lilly in Joe Wright's Pan it was said Wright was expecting to feature a "very international and multi-racial" cast. Well, with Mara aboard alongside Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook and Adeel Akhtar as Smee we now have newcomer Levi Miller as Peter Pan. That's Miller in the picture. I'm not going to jump all over the lack of diversity in this cast so far, but I if the true intention was to feature a multi-racial cast the first decision shouldn't be to fill the lead roles with Caucasians and go from there. As for the plot, Variety reports it will deviate from J.M. Barrie's original. Set during World War II, the story will follow Peter Pan, an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he's destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard.

Joe Wright‘s Peter Pan origin story Pan has a few very recognizable cast members. Hugh Jackman will play Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund will be Hook, and Rooney Mara is in talks to play Tiger Lily. But for Peter, Wright and his producers are looking at younger, new talent. And so Levi Miller, whose most recognizable role […]

Warner Bros. looks to have found its Peter Pan for forthcoming origins story, Pan, with Variety reporting that the studio has lined up newcomer Levi Miller to take the role. With Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook, and Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, director Joe Wright needed to find one hell of a kid actor to play Peter Pan who could match that star power. Variety reports he cast blue-eyed nobody Levi Miller to play young Pan, an orphan during WWII who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland. Setting Pan in WWII does help explain Pan’s future distrust of the mustachioed.

So much for that “very international and multi-racial” world Joe Wright wanted to create for his “Peter Pan” prequel “Pan.” Variety reports the director has found his young Peter and like most of the other actors playing the major characters, young Levi Miller is very much of the Caucasian race. Hugh Jackman plays Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund plays Hook and perhaps most egregious of all, Rooney Mara has been tapped to play Tiger Lily. And despite Adeel Akhtar as Smee, Wright’s running out of characters to cast with a little diversity, isn’t he? Still, the filmmaker insists this is a very [...]
