Brian T. Skinner
- Camera and Electrical Department
- Additional Crew
- Producer
Brian T. Skinner started his career in production in 2006 while he was living in Brooklyn, NY. He came up through the ranks in the camera department working on shows for MTV, VH1, TLC, Bravo, Style, Food Network, BET, Animal Planet, and many more.
His camera skills were sharpened by working on scripted and unscripted shows with sometimes 2, 3 and 4 cameras covering a scene all at once. His first tech job was as Tech Assist for MTV's Making the Band season 4. From there he went on to work as an AC for just about every show filming in NYC for the next couple years. He filled his time in between camera department jobs by helping friends he knew working in other fields such as Art Dept. He would work all throughout the prep phase as an Art PA and when filming began he would switch to work as an AC or Camera Op.
After working on traveling shows for several years, Brian moved back to his home state of Delaware where he got an opportunity that was life changing. One of his old camera op buddies who worked in NYC but lived in Philadelphia offered Brian the gig of a lifetime! He now works as a part time videographer at QVC with the opportunity to work full time after a short training period.
