Mike Christian is a professional bodybuilder. For his services during the performances and active propaganda of bodybuilding and healthy lifestyle, the name of Mike Christian was inscribed in the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2005. Mike Christian was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. After the death of the mother, the family moved to California and settled in Los Angeles. Mike became the leader of teenage gangster groups in Los Angeles. To maintain the status of a leader, he persevered in training. Worried about the criminal activities of his son, Christian's father takes his family to Oregon. In one of the gyms the young 20-year-old athlete was noticed by Charles Amato and invited him to take part in the competitions. In 1976, Mike Christian won his first victory in the bodybuilding contest in Portland. After three years of hard training in 1979, Mike took third place at AAU Mr. Pacific Northwest and AAU Junior Mr. America. In 1981 he returned to Los Angeles. In 1982, he took 5th place in the Nationals competition, and in 1983 wins the California bodybuilding championship. The victory at the Amateur World Championship 1984 brings him the status of a professional and he receives a professional card of IFBB. In the same 1984, he won the "Nationals". In 1985 he took part in the most prestigious competition "Mr. Olympia 1985" and "The Night of Champions 1985" where he took 5th and 4th places respectively. Competing with the best athletes of his time, Mike Christian won the "World Championship Pro 1988", "Grand Prix of the USA 1988", "Grand prix of Spain 1989" and "Grand prix of Germany 1989". The last tournament in his career was Arnold Classic 1990, where he took 2nd place. In the same year 1990, "Iron Warrior" Mike Christian completed his professional sports career at the age of 36 years.
