Allison Joyce is an award-winning photojournalist and unit still photographer with over 17 years of professional experience. Her work spans a diverse range of issues and clients, including Getty Images, The Pulitzer Center, The New York Times, TIME magazine, National Geographic, and various United Nations agencies. Previously based in South and Southeast Asia, she documented critical topics such as the Rohingya genocide, sex trafficking, child marriage, and climate change.
In 2022, Allison relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, where she transitioned into unit still photography. Since then, she has worked on numerous film sets across North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, collaborating on projects like Inimicus, Momma Dot, Broken Raven, The Last Survivor, and Afterlife. Her extensive experience in both photojournalism and unit still photography allows her to bring a unique and powerful visual perspective to every project she undertakes.
