Khalil Maasi(I)

The son of the legendary martial artist Shaha Mfundishi Maasi, Khalil Maasi began his acting career as a student & member of the Harlem Theater Company in Harlem, New York City. He has also studied British Acting Technique with Ruth Kulerman and Meisner Technique with Paul Lemose. Khalil is a former cast & crew member of Comedy Centrals "Chapelles Show". Khalil has been studying martial arts since the age of 5 years and appeared with his father on ABC Wide World Of Sports at the age of 9 years old. Khalil is an Actor/Writer/Producer, Fight Choreographer. Khalil will be seen in the upcoming project Sunset Park directed by Jason Sarrey. Khalil can also be seen in the thriller "P.O.E." by Openmindz Entertainment, the crime drama "The Turtleneck Gang" by Canei Productions, the feature film "Bullets Over Brownsville" by Openmindz Entertainment and the documentary series "Openmindz On The Grind" also with Openmindz Entertainment. Khalil currently is producing the on camera interview show INSIDE THE ACTION STUDIO and produces the Action Film & Stunt panel and events for the Newark International Film Festival/Newarkiff..
