Richard Pike scored the 6-part TV drama re-boot of Romper Stomper. Aired on Stan TV Australia (Jan 2018), broadcast on BBC 3 UK (May 2018) and AMC Networks US (2018).
Richard is a composer/singer, best known as frontman of electronic/experimental Sydney act PVT (aka Pivot). He self-produced PVT's first record 'Make Me Love You', which was nominated for the inaugural Triple J 'J Awards', 2005. They became the first Australian act to be signed to venerated electronica label Warp Records UK. In 2009 Richard moved to London and toured the albums 'O Soundtrack My Heart' and 2010's 'Church With No Magic'. PVT has toured EU, US & Oz supporting Sigur Ros, Gary Numan, Arctic Monkeys, Gotye & Warpaint. In recent years the critically acclaimed records 'Homosapien' and 'New Spirit' have been released on LA label Felte Records. He has composed for TV advertising as well as installation art with London innovators United Visual Artists. He has launched his own record label Salmon Universe to release ambient music under the pseudonym Deep Learning.
