Mario Luxxor, a Colombian native, embarked on a remarkable journey fueled by his passion for storytelling. After studying filmmaking at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Mario's creative adventure took an unexpected turn when, by the culmination of his fifth year, he independently shot "Bebe." Soon thereafter, driven by a thirst for new experiences and a longing for artistic growth, Mario made the courageous decision to leave academia and his country and relocate to Chicago-a monumental move that would redefine his path.
In the vibrant city of Chicago, Mario found himself fully immersed in its bustling nightlife, balancing work in nightclubs while committing himself to mastering the English language. Despite the challenges he faced as an undocumented immigrant, Mario's determination and resilience shone through as he navigated through unfamiliar cultural and linguistic territories.
During his time in Chicago, Mario's passion for storytelling burned ever brighter. His journey led him to New York City, where he delved deeply into the intricacies of human emotion and relationships, pouring his heart and soul into the creation of his screenplay, "The Beauty of Falling." Immersing himself in the English language, Mario honed his craft through the process of living and writing in a foreign land, overcoming numerous obstacles and setbacks along the way. Despite the five-year span it took to complete his screenplay, Mario's unwavering perseverance and dedication ultimately yielded a beautifully crafted masterpiece.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Mario continues to explore the depths of his creativity. Alongside his literary endeavors, he ventures into new and uncharted territories, pushing the limits of his artistic expression. His latest endeavor involves the production of a five-episode web series, a bold step towards realizing his vision. Additionally, Mario embarks on the ambitious journey of adapting "The Beauty of Falling" into a feature film, further expanding the horizons of his creative pursuits.
