Alper Kaya was born in 1990 in Ankara. In 2010, he was awarded with "Praise Award of Sports Column of the Year" by the Journalists Society of Turkey. Eleven of his books were published and also took place in thirteen anthologies with his works. The author lives in Istanbul with his wife Gizem Simsek Kaya, who is a writer like himself, and their six cats.
