Gabriel Uchida

Gabriel Uchida is a Brazilian film producer based in the Amazon Rainforest. Uchida built his career working internationally in different countries like Cuba, Ethiopia, Namibia, Germany, and the United States. Since 2016, he's focused on stories from the Amazon Basin including his latest feature documentary film The Territory, that was shortlisted for the Oscars 2023 and won over 25 prizes including the Sundance World Cinema Special Jury Award, the Sundance Audience Award and a Peabody, besides playing in over 100 festivals around the world.
