Onur lives in Istanbul. In 2012, he started working as an assistant in the series Leyla ile Mecnun (TRT). He worked as an assistant on the sets of the tv series for a few years. He graduated from Istanbul Cinema Center with a directing education. In 2016, he shot his first documentary about an old Istanbul bully. This documentary was broadcast on TRT World channel and Onur became famous as a documentary director in Turkey. Many of Onur's documentaries made in Turkey and abroad continue to be broadcast on TRT documentary and art channels.
