Prithvi Chauhan is a Director of Photography born in India and based in Los Angeles. He practiced photography under Italian photographer Federico Botta alongside his bachelor's degree in transportation design in Torino, Italy. His love for world cinema and photography evolved from his admiration for paintings, which brought him to LA where he received his master's degree in Cinematography at the New York Film Academy.
Primarily a narrative Cinematographer, his work is defined by his strong eye for composition, use of color, camera movement, and versatility to light and shoot all genres of projects. He has worked on multiple independent productions ranging from feature films to short films, commercials, and music videos.
With over two years of experience in creating film & digital cinema productions, Prithvi has worked with multiple experienced directors and producers across the United States transforming director's scripts, treatments, or concepts into stunning visual expressions.
