Ex-Football player who has played in over 600 games appearing for Sunderland, Derby County, Everton, Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Oxford United, Vancouver Whitecaps and Luton Town over a 20 year period. He was chosen by many players as their toughest opponent during his career and was amongst the best England defenders of the 1960's and 1970's
Has two sons called Steven and Andy, the latter of which plays currently for Blackburn Rovers and has also played under his father during his time at Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough.
Managed Middlesbrough (1990-1991), Bolton Wanderers (1996-1999), Swindon Town (1999), Derby County (2001-2002), Bradford City (2004-2007), Randers F.C (2007-2009) and Darlington (2009-present).
Won 27 Full Caps For England during his time as a player
Won the Division 1 Championship in the 1996-1997 season with Bolton Wanderers when the club acheived a record 98 points and 100 goals during the season.
Released his autobiography "Toddy - The Colin Todd Story" in the summer of 2008 and visited a number of his former clubs to promote the book.
