Birgir Dagur was born in Reykjavík, Iceland. He started to be interested in acting at a young age and when he got his first role in the movie Berdreymi, his interest grew enormously and in everything that comes with acting.
Birgir Dagur is very fond of the outdoors and regularly visits his grandparents on the west coast, where he manages to reset himself and enjoys being in the quiet environment free from the stress of the capital. He is also interested in and practices mixed martial arts with his friends, but in his younger years he practiced football, handball and fencing.
These days, Birgir Dagur is on the drama course at Fjölbrautskóli Garðabær and aims to complete that program in 2024.
