Amelia was born and raised in Reno, NV by her Argentinian mother and American father. Spanish was her first language.
She's been involved in the arts her entire life and studied ballet at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and went on to receive her B.A. in Performance from Fordham University, Lincoln Center and her M.F.A in Acting from the American Repertory Theatre at Harvard University.
Some of her credits include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Have I None directed by Robert Woodruff. Before graduating from Fordham, Amelia was cast in the Broadway revival of The Man Who Came To Dinner starring Nathan Lane.
