Born in Holden, Massachusetts with childhood dreams of becoming a palaeontologist, Jason Kennedy eventually found himself in Aotearoa/New Zealand. After realising he'd rather animate dinosaurs than dig them up, Kennedy became both an actor and animator. He holds a PhD in acting for performance capture and works to develop a better understanding of the relationship that acting and visual effects have on screen performances.
