- In his younger years, he was considered one of the top High school Water Polo Goalies in the USA. He set numerous tournament, state, and local records, including the Most Saves in a Season record for Pace Academy, which still stands today.
- His first - and little known - feature film "Shannanigans" was shot in Pittsburgh during Hunter's college days on a budget of $3,000. His second feature "Playhouse", was shot in Pittsburgh and L.A. with a budget of $25,000 and is now available on DVD in 14 Countries including the US.
