Roberto V. Jolliffe III
- Actor
Roberto Jolliffe, but you can call him Berto The VO. He is a Professional American male Voice Over Artist and Commercial actor. His extensive clientele includes renowned brands such as Kellogg's, Paw Patrol, Vivid Seats, HBO MAX, Spotify, Sprite, Amazon, Spurs, Adobe, Nike, McDonald's, Google, Live Nation, John Deere, Nissan, Dusse, Frito-Lay, Beyond Meat, Febreze, Fitness Connection and numerous smaller businesses.
He believes that your mission and message are important, and top brands have trusted me to tell their stories. You can trust him to do the same for you. His voice can convey a wide range of deep American, African American urban voices, as well as animated high-energy characters for commercials, cartoons, and more! He is a passionate person who loves to give my all to any craft he is involved in. Before he became a voice-over artist, he worked as an intern on a Clear Channel morning radio show. He learned a lot from that experience and started taking monologue and acting classes in Texas. This helped him develop my skills in scenes and character building, which he used in commercials. After that, he moved to LA in 2019 to immerse his self in the entertainment industry and culture. He took acting and Alyson Horn commercial classes and got accepted into Groundlings Improv school. The skills and life lessons he learned during that journey were invaluable and are still used every day. He always gives his clients my best quality and aim to exceed their expectations for any project, no matter how big or small!
Here are some fun facts about him: He is a military brat who's been lucky enough to travel around a lot, especially in Texas. This has given him a great perspective on life and helped him become a better voice actor. He is Puerto Rican and Panamanian, and his Mom is from New York. We'd visit every other summer, and his dad is from Panama who moved to Detroit. He loves art and making art in different ways. He draws, paints, writes music, and builds DIY projects at home. He has also worked in the tech and innovation space for a long time, on both the business and IT sides. This has led him to create his own app called Evntures and other coding projects. He really love traveling the world and learning about different cultures. Reading is also important to him. He love biographies, origin stories, and learning about people's manners and life experiences. In fact, he was featured in 3 Vies Magazine Volume #37, talking about his life journey and how he became a voice actor. In December 2023, he went to the That's Voice Over Expo conference in LA, and the DreamWorks Animation team picked him and 6 others to read a script for the Head of Casting at DreamWorks - Ania O'Hare! Recently, I was on Edge Studios' YouTube show Home Studio Show and Tell.
