Nora Makes The Scene In The Flash Season 5 Premiere Photos

Having already treated us to a new trailer and promotional poster this month, it looks as though The CW aren’t through spoiling us with goodies pertaining to The Flash‘s fifth season. This time, they deliver with a heck of a lot of images taken from the premiere episode, which has been appropriately titled “Nora.”

Speaking of which, Barry and Iris’ daughter from the future features prominently in the gallery found below, proudly sporting her Xs costume in a variety of action shots. Personally, my favorite is the one where Jessica Parker Kennedy is seemingly recreating Jeff Goldblum’s infamous pose from the first Jurassic Park flick, but there’s a lot more to feast your eyes on as we wait for the saga to continue.

If we’re to learn any lesson from this slideshow, it’s that the story may pick up moments after last May’s finale,

Review: The Flash: The Complete Fourth Season

  • Comicmix
After a particularly dour third season, fans were promised that the fourth season of The Flash would lighten things up, which was most welcome. On the other hand, the pacing and plotting of the major character and story arcs was uneven and dissatisfying, with lots of highs but too many lows.

The Flash: The Complete Fourth Season is out on Blu-ray and Digital HD combo pack today and across its four discs offers up not only all 23 episodes but the compete “Crisis on Earth-x” crossover event. No doubt, this was necessary considering that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candace Patton) finally tie in the knot in the crossover’s Legends of the Tomorrow installment.

While he is taking a moment to appreciate his happiness, his season-long antagonist has determined Barry needs to be taught humility and sets about to beat that into him episode after episode.

The Flash casts Kyle Secor as Caitlin’s father Dr. Thomas Snow

Since the beginning of the series, fans of The Flash haven’t met Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost’s father, much less heard that much about him. That is about to change jpweber as, per Entertainment Weekly, the series has cast Veronica Mars alum Kyle Secor as Dr. Thomas Snow, Catilin’s brilliant father.

Dr. Snow is an extremely intelligent geneticist who has been Mia for decades. Upon returning to Central City, he will try his best to make up for lost time with Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). But what Caitlin doesn’t know is that Thomas is hiding a big secret.

Towards the end of Season 4 of The Flash, Caitlin lost her powers to turn into Killer Frost, but discovered they had been a part of her long before the particle accelerator exploded. Her father will play a role in her attempts to bring Killer Frost back, but to do that

The Flash’s Danielle Panabaker Teases Killer Frost’s Future

Though The Flash‘s fourth season did a fine job of tying up the Thinker’s arc, there were still some threads left dangling after May’s finale. And no, we’re not talking about what’s to come with Nora Allen-West, but rather, the developing situation involving Caitlin Snow.

If you’ll remember, one of our favorite stalwarts lost connection to her Killer Frost alter ego late last season, but as it turns out, she has memories of using her powers as a child. Therefore, the particle accelerator explosion was not the cause of her metahuman abilities.

So, once the series resumes this fall, it should be most intriguing to see whatever – or whomever – is responsible for making Caitlin into such a cool customer. Speaking of which, actress Danielle Panabaker touched on this very subject while chatting with ComicBook.com at San Diego Comic-Con, and had this to offer:

The Women Of The Arrowverse Want An All-Female Crossover

The Arrowverse has accrued a lot of superheroines across its assembled shows, so isn’t it about time that the ladies of the DC TV universe get their own crossover? That’s what some of the leading actresses of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow think.

Bustle spoke to Arrowverse stars Caity Lotz (Sara Lance), Candice Patton (Iris West), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Vixen), Tala Ashe (Zari) and Juliana Harkavy (Black Canary) recently and got the lowdown on why they think the franchise desperately needs an all-girl crossover.

For starters, Ashe revealed that each of them have pitched the idea to their respective showrunners, partly driven from a desire to see their characters all share the screen without the scene revolving around one of the male characters.

“On our own show, all of us separately have said to the writers, ‘Let’s have a girls’ episode.’ Not just for the

Will ‘The Flash’ speed off with the Teen Choice Award for the 2nd year in a row?
The Flash” debuted in 2014 and has aired four seasons on The CW, but despite a consistent presence in the Teen Choice Awards nominations it didn’t earn a bid in the top category until it competed for Choice TV Action Show in 2017. It won that race, and it’s back this year to defend its title. Will it win again? Given the title character’s superhuman speed you’d expect him to win whatever race he enters, but in this case he’ll have to wait and see if his fans are as quick with their votes as he is on his feet.

The series has five nominations this year. In addition to the top race for Choice TV Action Show it’s up for Choice TV Actor (Action) for Grant Gustin, Choice TV Actress (Action) for both Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker, and Choice TV Ship for the romance between Gustin and Patton.

The Flash Season 5 Is Casting Caitlin Snow’s Father

Towards the end of The Flash season 4, we found out a shocking revelation about Caitlin Snow. When Cisco helped her uncover a repressed memory, it turned out that her icy-powered alter ego Killer Frost has been with her since she was a child and was not a product of the particle accelerator as previously established. Now, we expect to find out more about Caitlin’s past in season 5, and this new casting call seems to support that.

That Hashtag Show has got hold of a character breakdown for Dr. Thomas Snow, Caitlin’s estranged father, as The Flash is currently looking for “a Caucasian male in his 50’s” to play him. The description teases that Thomas will return to the lives of his wife and daughter and attempt to make peace, but he’s still withholding a dangerous secret.

“Described as a Caucasian male in his 50’s, Dr. Snow is

The Flash Gets His Flash Ring in Trailer For The Flash Season 5

The CW has released the trailer for The Flash Season 5 and it gives us an exciting look at what's in store for our favorite characters! One of the cooler things that we see in the trailer Barry Allen getting his Flash Ring!

It's been reported that Chris Klein is set to play Cicada, next season’s Central City villain. "A grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic — one metahuman at a time."

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter,

The Flash Cast Video: Will Barry and Iris Get Along With Their Grown Daughter?
When last we tuned into The Flash, the Mystery Girl we had been glimpsing all season long introduced herself as Barry and Iris’ grown daughter, Nora. But will Team Flash believe the lass’ claim?

In a word or two, ultimately yes. “We’re pretty gullible,” Candice Patton shared during the cast’s visit to TVLine’s San Diego Comic-Con suite. But the acceptance of Nora’s identity won’t be instant. As leading man Grant Gustin noted, “We have been tricked at the beginning of every season!”

Gustin, Patton and TV daughter Jessica Parker Kennedy then detail which insta-parent is

Warner Bros. Television presented panels for its CW superhero dramas “Arrow,” “Supergirl,” “Legends of Tomorrow,” and “The Flash” Saturday at Comic-Con.

New “Arrow” showrunner Beth Schwartz joined the show’s cast onstage at Comic-Con, promising to keep the show rooted in the tone it has previously delivered as it enters its seventh season.

“I’ve been on the show since season one,” said Schwartz, who rose through the ranks from writer to executive producer and showrunner. “It’s been a long time. So it’s not a completely different show, but I’m going to put my own spin on it.”

Colton Haynes, who is returning to “Arrow” in season seven in his role as Roy Harper, praised Schwartz. “It’s the best show that’s ever been on the show since the show started,” he said.

Haynes also spoke about his character’s storyline this season.

“The good thing is Roy’s coming back,

The Flash Star Shares New Image From The Set Of Season 5

If anything, the season finale we witnessed this past May preserved The Flash‘s annual tradition of going out on crazy cliffhangers. After all, if you’re going to match happenings such as Flashpoint and Barry Allen’s exile into the Speed Force, then why not have his daughter from the future, Nora, show up to let us all know that she also enjoys messing with the timeline?

Given that, the wait to see what’s next in the saga is indeed hard to endure, but on the plus side, actress Danielle Panabaker did recently confirm that cameras have begun rolling on season 5. This is actually the usual time Arrowverse shows get back to the grind so that not only do the post-production teams get ample lead-in time to meet fall premiere dates, but also because San Diego Comic-Con presentations are scheduled for later this month. Yes, that means you should expect a trailer.

Arrow Cast Teases The Start Of Production On Season 7 With New Photo

The other day, The Flash star Danielle Panabaker revealed that production had begun on the fifth season of The CW’s DC TV series. Now, it seems its sister show, Arrow, isn’t far behind, as the cast recently gathered together for the first table read of season 7.

A few familiar faces stopped by today…”

The timing of the Arrow crew going back to work bodes well for there being a sneak peak at the new run at this month’s Comic-Con. Warner Bros. Television is putting on a panel for the show and, going by previous years, that would mean we’ll get a sizzle reel based on
