The Flash Star Shares New Image From The Set Of Season 5

If anything, the season finale we witnessed this past May preserved The Flash‘s annual tradition of going out on crazy cliffhangers. After all, if you’re going to match happenings such as Flashpoint and Barry Allen’s exile into the Speed Force, then why not have his daughter from the future, Nora, show up to let us all know that she also enjoys messing with the timeline?

Given that, the wait to see what’s next in the saga is indeed hard to endure, but on the plus side, actress Danielle Panabaker did recently confirm that cameras have begun rolling on season 5. This is actually the usual time Arrowverse shows get back to the grind so that not only do the post-production teams get ample lead-in time to meet fall premiere dates, but also because San Diego Comic-Con presentations are scheduled for later this month. Yes, that means you should expect a trailer.

Arrow Cast Teases The Start Of Production On Season 7 With New Photo

The other day, The Flash star Danielle Panabaker revealed that production had begun on the fifth season of The CW’s DC TV series. Now, it seems its sister show, Arrow, isn’t far behind, as the cast recently gathered together for the first table read of season 7.

The news was revealed via the @ARROWwriters Twitter account, which posted a photo of Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), David Ramsey (John Diggle) and Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt), along with the caption: “Happy #Arrow table read day! A few familiar faces stopped by today…”

The timing of the Arrow crew going back to work bodes well for there being a sneak peak at the new run at this month’s Comic-Con. Warner Bros. Television is putting on a panel for the show and, going by previous years, that would mean we’ll get a sizzle reel based on

The Flash Star Reveals That Season 5 Has Started Filming

The Flash wrapped up its fourth season just a couple of months ago, but the cast of The CW’s hit DC TV series is already going back before the cameras for season 5. We know this because Danielle Panabaker – who plays Star Labs doctor Caitlin Snow and her metahuman alter ego Killer Frost – posted a beautiful shot of Vancouver on Twitter, teasing that she’d returned to the city to begin work on the latest season. The actress captioned her photo with a simple: “We’re back.”

As fans will know, season 4 left us with numerous plot threads dangling to be dealt with in season 5. The big one is that Barry and Iris have encountered Nora Allen, their speedster daughter from the future. After a few brief appearances throughout the season, she finally revealed herself to her parents, but admitted that she’d made a grave mistake in traveling back to the past.

Danielle Nicolet Promoted To Series Regular For The Flash Season 5

Though The Flash has lost a few key actors over the years, it’s still managed to hold onto most who’ve comprised the principal cast since the very first season. At this point, it’s hard to imagine the show without the likes of Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdez, Tom Cavanagh and Jesse L. Martin orbiting lead actor Grant Gustin.

Of course, it’s only natural for the family to grow based on how other guest characters evolve and interact with the likes of those played by the stars listed above, chief among them being Danielle Nicolet’s Cecile Horton. Although hers wasn’t a recurring role until the time of season 3, she was originally introduced all the way back in season 1, thus making her a fine example of this point.

The Flash Season 4 Blu-Ray Release Date And Extras Revealed

Despite obviously not being the first TV series introduced to us by the Arrowverse, The Flash has consistently proven itself as a fan favorite and a ratings success for The CW. With each passing year, the show introduces us to a healthy amount of DC heroes and villains – both well known and obscure – while never shying away from crazy sci-fi action. Really, I’m impressed with what the visual effects team are able to achieve week in and week out.

This time around, it was refreshing to see Barry Allen do battle with someone who wasn’t yet another evil speedster. Cool as the previous big bads were, Clifford DeVoe Aka the Thinker will go down as being a great foil for Team Flash, having taken them to the intellectual limit like never before.

If you have the slightest idea of what I’m talking about, then you’ll want

The Flash Season 4 Episode 21 Review: Harry and the Harrisons

  • TVfanatic
Prepare yourselves for one heck of a ride, or should I say one heck of a metal tornado?

During, The Flash Season 4 Episode 21, we learned that Team Flash is desperate. They are running out of time to stop DeVoe's satellites. Hope starts to dwindle until it doesn't, with the light finally shining at the end of the tunnel.

Don't forget that you can watch The Flash online right here on TV Fanatic and catch up on all of the juicy deets I'm about to send your way!

We start the episode with an allude to Iris' past work as a journalist. Barry awakens to find his wife urgently crafting an article -- an article that will expose DeVoe and enlighten the citizens of Central City.

Any viewer watching can see the happiness on her face as she tells Barry of her plan, and one would think Barry would return the enthusiasm,

John Diggle Returns To The Flash In New Images

One thing that makes a shared continuity such as the Arrowverse so wonderful is that not only does it yield those massive multi-series crossovers each fall like Crisis on Earth-x, but it means there’s also room for intermingling here and there on a smaller scale. Thus, you may see characters from Arrow making guest appearances on The Flash and vice versa.

Speaking of which, those two series will again be overlapping before long as Arrow‘s David Ramsey will be headed back to Central City for a brief stay in this season’s penultimate episode chronicling the adventures of the Scarlet Speedster. Granted, this isn’t the first time Dig has stopped by, but the dynamic shared between him and Barry Allen is always guaranteed to bring a few smiles.

So, now that this mashup of sorts is one week away, the network feels comfortable enough to release images promoting it.
