At the time of this publishing, nearly $500,000 has already been raised by over 2,000 backers.

Freeform Boss Tara Duncan Discusses Animation & Unscripted Push, IP Interest & Diversity
Tara Duncan has been in the job as President of Freeform for just over seven months and she is starting to put her mark on the Disney-owned network.

She tells Deadline what her priorities are for the network, new areas that she’s looking to move into and also addresses recent concerns over diversity.

This comes after she attended her first TCA in charge, an event where Freeform revealed it had handed a series order to comedy pilot Single Drunk Female and was piloting an adaptation of Phoebe Robinson’s book Everything’s Trash But It’s Okay.

Current Freeform originals include dramas The Bold Type, The Fosters spin-off Good Trouble and Motherland: Fort Salem and comedies Grown-ish and Everything’s Going To Be Okay. The Jessica Biel-produced Cruel Summer is also launching later this year.

Duncan said while the network is “highly resourced”, expect around the same number of scripted originals on air.

How Odd Future’s Jimmy Fallon Debut Brought Tumblr Energy To The Mainstream

How Odd Future’s Jimmy Fallon Debut Brought Tumblr Energy To The Mainstream
Ten years ago, the members of Odd Future wore balaclavas with sharpied inverted crosses on them for an appearance on network television. Tyler, the Creator was 19 years old, Hodgy Beats about 16 months older, and Earl Sweatshirt was still sequestered in Samoa. They took the soundstage of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on February 16th, 2011 — backed by three members of the Roots and a girl dressed in full Ring make-up — and begrudgingly censored the many indecencies that appear in their early deep-cut “Sandwitches.” (“Not Dom, but if I was a Dahm

Supernatural Season 15 Episode 18 Review: Despair

Supernatural Season 15 Episode 18 Review: Despair
This Supernatural review contains spoilers.

Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18

Only two episodes left. The clock marking time until the end ticks louder each week. Now, there’s a bit of an echo to the sound.

Last week’s episode saw the Winchesters struggling against each other as it became clear that Billie’s plan to defeat Chuck was merely a power grab on her part. But naturally, things are never straightforward on Supernatural. Allies are not always allies, villains are not necessarily always villains. Billie’s attempt at grabbing Chuck’s position succeeded only in turning Dean’s sights on her instead of Chuck. Dean needs that outlet, he needs a bad guy he can punish. It’s the hunter’s way, and as we’ve seen in the past, the hunter is not always right.

This close to the series finale, the writing team, especially Bob Berens who penned this episode,

An Open Letter to the Cast of Supernatural: Thank You and Carry On

An Open Letter to the Cast of Supernatural: Thank You and Carry On
Dear Supernatural Cast,

We've never met, but all of you mean a lot to me. Over the years, Supernatural has helped me find comfort and courage when I've needed it the most, and that wouldn't have been possible without you all. The list of shows that consistently bring me peace is short, and, perhaps ironically, Supernatural is on that list. Whatever I'm dealing with or healing from, I always know I can count on the Winchester boys - and the Supernatural universe as a whole - to make me feel safe. I can't count how many nights I've fallen asleep to Sam and Dean conversing in the Impala, and while that may not sound like a compliment, trust me when I tell you that it is.

I started watching the show during the summer of 2015, and I was instantly a fan. I'd recently broken up with a long-term boyfriend who'd
