Elda Isavelina Ortiz Rivas (Río Grande, Zac. MEX. 1991.) is an artist, curator, filmmaker and teacher. She grew up in the semi-desert Zacatecano (MEX) and lives between Mexico and Barcelona. Degree in Philosophy and Degree in Visual Arts both from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. He took a master's degree in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Co-founder of the independent contemporary art space Tiempo Compartido. Founder and director of Hermenauta Estudio-Laboratorio, an audiovisual and film production laboratory. General Director at Ediciones Cuchilla, an editorial project for self-managed and freely distributed publications. Founder of Sindicata, a collective of film, video and photography workers. She also has a Mexican food project made with corn.
She works at the intersections between art, research and education. The projects he carries out are experimentation around chaos conducting documentary research on creative-cognitive processes in the arts and philosophy.
