Heather P. Shreve is an award-winning screenwriter, historical advisor, and master artist with a rich ancestral history in America. Through her company, Shreve Interactive, Inc., she has created three well-researched original film projects which encompass everything from pioneer days (River Man mini-series) to the 1920's (The Bamboo Wife TV Series) to the 1940s (Once A Colonel film).
Heather grew up in rural Baltimore County, Maryland. Her father was an engineer and master craftsman, and her mother, a homemaker and master gardener. She was drawn to art and writing early and exposed to Japanese cultural elements like Zen Gardening and Sumi e brush painting. Both her parents and one grandparent practiced and cultivated Japanese gardens.
Ms. Shreve with several strong areas of historical knowledge; the US Army Interwar years, jazz and the 1920's, and WWII. She has authored 6 books, edited 20+ books, and ghostwritten several more and employs her artwork for book covers as well as for opening sequences in her TV series, etc.
