Freddy Sheinfeld is a Venezuelan-born composer based in Los Angeles. His influences draw from his rich cultural heritage to create captivating, unique, and emotional scores. His music has been featured on hundreds of TV episodes, films, and documentaries, where he scored many of Sir David Attenborough's mini-series and IMAX films such as Conquest of the Sky 3D (Lumiere Award winner and BAFTA nominated), Galapagos 3D, and the winner of the Best Documentary Score award at the International Film Music Festival: Kingdom of Plants 3D.
Freddy is also well established in the animation world, having composed music for Disney's LEGO Star Wars Stories and, more recently, LEGO Disney Princesses Stories. He is also well known for all the Yu-Gi-Oh! series and spinoffs.
Freddy's music can also be heard in video games like Konami's Contra: Rogue Corps and Frogger, museum exhibits at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles and the New York Tolerance Center, and he has also collaborated with rock bands like Poison and Mr. Big, composing the opening for their tours.
Freddy has also composed several thrillers, including Paradise Lost [additional music] (Benicio del Toro, Josh Hutcherson), Anthony Zuiker's (CSI) web series Cybergeddon, The Barber (Scott Glen) and the hit action film La Hora Cero, which was the highest-grossing Venezuelan movie of 2010.
