Declan Joyce was born on October 14, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA as Declan Edmund Leo Joyce. He is an actor and producer, known for Cops and Robbers (2017), American Idiots (2013) and Not Another Not Another Movie (2011).

Was in his first theater play by age seven.

On October 16, 2002 former President Bill Clinton wrote a letter of support for his project, Irish Wonder. On March 14, 2003, President Bush invited Declan to The White House for a St. Patricks Day party with the President, Minister Ahern, Gerry Adams, David Trimble and John Hume.
Graduated from Lakewood High School, Lakewood, Ohio.
Was cast in film Red Zone (2003) with friend Marc Edwards of the New England Patriots. Edwards sent him an autographed football signed by the entire team after winning the Super Bowl which was stolen. UPS then donated $5,000 to the Marc Edwards Foundation. This story appeared in The Cleveland Plain Dealer on July 2, 2002 and The Boston Globe on July 24, 2002. This then caught the attention of casting director Patrick Cunningham to put both Edwards and Joyce in the film Red Zone (2003) starring Freddy Rodriguez of Six Feet Under (2001).

Acting is like baseball in many ways. While many in Hollywood are focusing on the next 'big home run', I just try getting on base. Then I am happy!
Everything I do revolves around me being Irish. I can't escape that. No matter what country I go to or live in, it is always there. Going back to Ireland and seeing family and friends always reinforces that.
A powerful mindset is what separates people. When I came to Los Angeles, I was so sold out for acting that if I were to lose everything and end up living in my car, I would still keep acting and get my way out. That is my commitment every day.
