"I only wish to live up to my father's example..." An official Us trailer has debuted for an indie coming-of-age comedy titled The Tiger Hunter, starring young actor Danny Pudi best known from "Community". Josh Bowman Wants to Leave “Revenge”, “Glee” Pays Tribute to Billy Joel and Will Cyrus Use James to Create a Gay “Scandal”?

News

Ryan Murphy has revealed to EW details about the next season of American Horror Story, including that it will be set in the past. One possibility has me excited, the other feels a little too… familiar. He also said that there won’t be a Coven spin-off series, as originally suggested.

Josh Bowman tells TV Guide that he’s hoping to leave Revenge. “I love working on the show, but I’m just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it’s been so hard for me to play,” he explains. I’d certainly miss looking at Bowman but it’s not like Daniel has had many interesting stories since Tyler was written out.

Leah Remini is joining the cast of The Exes in a recurring role as Stuart (David Alan Basche)’s divorced sister.

Comedy Central is developing another talk show, according to Deadline. The channel

Lisa Kudrow’s “Scandal” Debut and “Doctor Who” Anniversary to Screen in Movie Theatres

News

Eliza Coupe may have found her next series following Happy Endings (admittedly, I was hoping she might return to Community). She is set to star in Benched, a USA comedy pilot about a woman who goes from working in corporate law to being a public defender.

The Doctor Who 50th anniversary special will be shown in theaters in 3D, including screens in the USA. Unfortunately, it looks like the specifics haven’t been settled, so we’ll all have to wait to find out if its going to be shown on the big screen in our city.

I wouldn’t mind switching out one of those companions, tho…

Vulture lists its 25 Most Amazing Amazing Race teams. I don’t have many complaints, except that it’s too bad they forgot the epic moment of Tara haranguing the insufferable Will in the final race to the finish line.

Lifetime has ordered a second season of Devious Maids, which started slow but picked up viewers as it went along. I’m feeling mixed about this news. I’ve been enjoying Maids‘ first season (mostly) but I dont’ trust Marc Cherry to keep a serial going past a promising first season.

Friend Me: What Happened to the CBS Comedy?

It doesn't look like viewers will ever get to see Friend Me. CBS has decided to shelve the comedy series and won't be airing the produced episodes.

Co-created by Ajay Sahgal and Alan Kirschenbaum, Friend Me revolves around two young best friends (Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicholas Braun) who move from Indiana to Los Angeles to work for Groupon. While one wants to recreate himself in the big city, the other wants to hold onto his hometown roots and relationships. Others in the cast include Amanda Lund, Dan Ahdoot, Parvesh Cheena, and Steve Talley.

The sitcom was ordered to series in May 2012 and was expected to debut mid-season. Kirschenbaum tragically took his own life in October 2012 and the network opted not to include the show in their mid-season plans in December.

The show's fate still seemed up in the air but,
