CBS’ “The Talk” pulled off an upset, beating frequent winner “Ellen” for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment. Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show has won six of the last 10 years, including last year. And the co-hosts of “The Real” surprised as Outstanding Hosts in the category.

Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes, longtime stars of “Days of Our Lives,” received a lifetime achievement award, as did veteran kids TV creators Sid and Marty Krofft.

Mario Lopez and Sheryl Underwood hosted the ceremony at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

2018 Daytime Emmy predictions for Best Supporting Actor: ‘Days’ co-stars Chandler Massey and Greg Vaughan are the men to beat [Watch]
Chandler Massey (“Days of Our Lives”) will win the Daytime Emmy for Best Supporting Actor according to our official predictions, which place him out front with leading odds of 4/5. Winners will be announced on Sunday night, April 29, after being decided by blue ribbon panels that watched sample performance reels. Gold Derby contributor Tony Ruiz and I watched all the submissions and agree that Massey is out front, but he’s not a slam dunk by any means. He faces tough competition. Watch our predictions slugfest above.

“Chandler Massey knows how to submit, clearly. He’s won three out of four times [for Best Younger Actor] and could easily go four-out-of-five,” says Ruiz about Massey’s performance as his character struggles with amnesia and assault. “There’s a lot of emotional range. I think the scene with the strangling … he’s spectacular in that scene, the kind of explosive anger than Emmy voters love.” I agree with Ruiz,

Who Is Wyatt on Days Of Our Lives? — Here's Everything You Need to Know!

Wyatt has returned to Days Of Our Lives and left some fans wondering just who this guy is and why he looks so familiar. Well, the short story is that Wyatt was involved with Ciara and Claire in 2017, but the actor played a very different role a year earler! Wyatt might be recognizable to Days fans because the actor, Scott Shilstone, actually appeared on the soap back in June of 2016 when he portrayed Bo and Hope’s son, Zack, in a dream sequence. Although the young boy was tragically killed by Chelsea when she was driving recklessly in Bo’s car on New Year’s Eve, 2006, Shilstone was cast as a grown-up Zack for an episode where he appeared to his parents. You might also recognize the young actor from the films Pitch Perfect, Helicopter Mom, and Drumline: A New Beat. Peter Reckell (Bo), Scott Shilstone (Zack), and Kristian Alfonso
