It’s hard to believe Mickie James first stepped foot in Impact Wrestling more than 20 years ago. Since then she has built a legendary career, one that continues today as “Hardcore Country” looks to win back the Knockouts women’s championship against Trinity Fatu at Bound for Glory. It’s a title never lost. She was forced to vacate the gold due to a broken rib earlier this year. With James’ return to the Impact ring last month, it was only a matter of time before getting that crack at the division’s top prize. And there is no better place for the marquee battle than the company’s biggest annual show. Here the star opens up about her next chapter. You returned to Impact Wrestling during the 1,000th episode. What was that like? Mickie James: The energy of the arena that night. Everyone was on cloud 9 to celebrate 1,000 episodes.

At Crown Jewel, Lita had her first singles match since her retirement bout against Mickie James at Survivor Series 2006. The WWE Hall of Famer held her own against the Raw Women’s Champion and looked great in defeat. Lita has stated that she’ll keep in shape just in case the company needed her to go another round inside of the squared circle. We know that Lita will receive another shot at singles competition based on how great she looked inside of the ring against Becky Lynch, but should the company coat her into one final single run? Lita didn’t exactly

The story of Eva Marie is fascinating. It’s definitely not a complicated one. Eva Marie would’ve fit perfectly in the Diva’s era of WWE. The problem? That’s easily regarded as the worst era for women’s wrestling in the company. Though names like Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, and Melina existed during this time, WWE cared more about looks than the actual wrestling portion. The company was notoriously known for hiring models instead of wrestlers, with Alicia Foxx, Candice Michelle, Summer Rae, and The Bella Twins being prime examples. These women had athletic back rounds on their resumes, but professional wrestling wasn’t

Some of the most popular and respected women in pro wrestling have mobilized for “Dresslemania II,” a fundraiser forged by “Grown-Ass Women (Gaw) TV” hosts Mickie James, Lisa Marie Varon (Victoria) and Valerie Wyndham (SoCal Val). The fierce ring trio has an important cause in mind, collaborating with Tag Me In United initiative for mental health. “Last year’s all-virtual Dresslemania raised almost $10,000 for Girl Up,” said Wyndham, referring to the United Nations-founded young woman’s leadership development program. “We thought to do a different charity every year. This year we wanted to honor our friend Daffney and do something related to mental health and awareness.” Daffney (Shannon Spruill), the onetime WCW champion, took her own life last September. Now through April 3 fans can bid on donated gowns and dresses via online auction from the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Molly Holly, Chelsea Green, Jordnynne Grace, Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim,...

However disillusioned you might feel as a fan sometimes, there is no denying that come the Royal Rumble, your energy rises. In its 35th year, this event is arguably second only to WrestleMania in being the must see WWE show of the year. Promising shocks, twists and major construction into the feuds that will define that year’s WrestleMania season, it really is the start of what should be/sometimes is the WWE’s hottest streak. True to form this year’s show promised a lot of action and excitement, with a darn good card to boot, so lets see how things panned out at the first of the big four “premium live events” of 2022…
The opening video package gets us hyped for the Rumbles and a great match card line-up.

Welcome to this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and “Fons and Porter’s Love of Quilting” kicks ass. Let’s knit bitch! We’ve got Raw and it’s “In Your Face!” This show normally pisses me off, but I’d be happy to give this son of a bun a good review…if it deserves it. “Dragon’s Lair” gives me a gamer boner and Raw starts…Aisha Tyler!

Welcome to this week’s review of WWE Monday Night Raw, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…well, whatever it is, it’s gotta be better than Aew All Out. Tony Khan almost killed Matt Hardy and it pissed me off. I hope Raw is better than that train-wreck of a PPV, because if it isn’t, I’ll choke a Smurf. Okay, it’s time for Rawwwwwwwwwww…to not be so bad any-more.
Match #1: The Hurt Business def. Apollo Crews, Cedric Alexander and Ricochet The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Apollo Crews, Ricochet & Cedric Alexander arrived ready for a fight with The Hurt Business. But Mvp, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin jumped Alexander before the bell, putting their opponents on the defensive. That attack may have awoken something in Alexander, as he ambushed Ricochet, then dropped Crews with a Lumbar Check, allowing a...

Welcome to this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I’ve got a Rolls Royce stuck up my ass. It ain’t eazay beein cheezay. On this episode of “Alain Delon Pees Sexy”, we’ve got more Randy Orton to make you beg for a long walk off a short peer. Okay Dr. Putz, let’s watch some wrestling instead of scratching our nuts.
Match #1: Keith Lee def. Dolph Ziggler – Spot In The Triple Threat Match The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Dolph Ziggler threw everything he had at Keith Lee, but The Limitless One was nearly unstoppable, and he put The Showoff down for the three-count with a huge Spirit Bomb to advance once step closer to his first WWE Championship opportunity.
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – Lee smashed Ziggler good. This was a squash and…a squash?...

Welcome to this week’s Monday Night Raw review, right here in Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is the big go-home show before SummerSlam, which means it’s gonna suck! You know there ain’t a damn thing on here worth talking about. I’m just gonna make shit up. Kamala walked out and knocked John Cena on his big, fat, sociopathic ass and got nominated for an Emmy for his guest star spot on “Schitt’s Creek”…”Without A Paddle” (Episode 8008…Boob). Kamala…Rest In Peace. John Cena…suck a big phucken dick. Monday Night Raw…has Shawn Michaels tonight…who can also suck a big, phucken dick. Here comes SummerSlam!
Match #1: Apollo Crews def. Shelton Benjamin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
While Mvp accused Apollo Crews of orchestrating Retribution’s attacks, Crews instead looked forward to SummerSlam, setting up a match with Shelton Benjamin...

May 29, 2014. The date of the very first Nxt TakeOver show. Man… that was over five years ago, and in the time since that show aired live in the WWE Network, we’ve seen so much change. Not just in Nxt, but in WWE in general and in the world of pro-wrestling. Going back to that first show highlights not only how much has changed, but how far Nxt as a brand has come. It’s about to go live every week on the USA Network as a two-hour show, head-to-head with the first potential wrestling competition to WWE in years, Aew. The landscape of wrestling is different now. Going back, for the sake of this article to watch every Nxt TakeOver show was no small undertaking. There’s been 26 (28 including the UK TakeOver shows) of them to date. Still… I’m a huge fan of Nxt and it’s hardly...
